The Department of English is pleased to announce that Tereza Bořková has received the Dean’s Award for her outstanding bachelor’s thesis, titled "Learning Needs of Senior English Learners."
Under the supervision of Dr. Jana Zerzová, Ms. Bořková conducted qualitative research into the specific requirements of students aged 60+. Her study, which focused on beginners at the University of the Third Age, identifies key strategies for keeping senior learners motivated and comfortable in the classroom.
Her exemplary work contributes valuable data that will benefit both our institution and others offering similar lifelong learning programs. Congratulations!
